From my point of view:

Most eventfull destination in Croatia – Hard to say. Istria, Baranja, Međimurje and Zagreb surroundings because of numerous countryside restaurants, wineries and family farms full of character. Apart from great traditional food and local wine, this is where you feel Croatian hospitaliy at its best. And people love being in nature, far from bustling cities and usual tourist spots.

"Wow" factor that hits me immediately – Events off-the-beaten path with unique atmosphere, uniting people of all ages, from all corners of the world and all walks of life. Spontaneous moments. Sincerity and simplicity. Something like the first editions of now traditional Festival of Homemade Brandy in Hum, Istria (Smotra domaćih rakija), or some of the parties at Dalmacija Wine Expo.

Perfect event venue – Depends on the type of event. Pula’s abandoned military fortresses for concerts and music festivals. Old stone villages and family farms in Dalmatian hinterland for private parties and foodie events. Squares and streets of old Istrian hilltop towns like Hum, Gračišće or Grožnjan for food and drink festivals. Wineries like Kozlović, Bolfan, Saints Hills, Rizman, Korta Katarina, Bire (I could go on and on) for wine tastings, food events, special corporate events and incentives. Kezele family farm and restaurant in Moslavina for weddings and parties. Wine roads in Zagreb County (Zelina, Plešivica) for wine and food tours full of local flavour...

If I could, I would like to organize wine festivals and workshops dedicated to less known and neglected Croatian native grape varieties. And I dream of a never-seen-before grand wine tour throughout entire Croatia, from Ilok to Konavle.

I will always remeber all good events which successfully combined good food, wine and music, leaving everybody tipsy and full of positive vibes at the end.
